Conversely, being above 80% humidity means paint struggles to dry. Because of the way that most paints solidify, too much moisture in the air keeps them in a gummy state. This causes textures to not flatten out and your home’s exterior paint to not dry as intended. It may even dry badly enough that you have to scrape it off and start over.
